What we are
People Hate Ads* is an independent editorial outlet covering advertising, marketing, and the campaigns shaping culture. We publish essays, interviews, criticism, and trend reporting for a readership of marketers, creatives, and everyone else who cares about the work.
Our starting point is simple: most advertising is skipped, blocked, or forgotten. The rare exceptions — the ones people talk about, screenshot, and remember — are the ones worth studying. That's what we write about.
We're funded by an in-house creative studio of the same name. The magazine is editorially independent from the agency's client work.
Editorial standards
Every article is written or commissioned by a named contributor. Bylines link to that contributor's profile with bio, prior work, and contact details. Corrections are appended in-line with a date. We disclose relationships when we cover work by our own agency or its partners.
We do not accept payment for editorial placement. Sponsored content, when it exists, is clearly labelled.
